Biography
Cristian Munteanu - an all round musician with a degree in sound engineering, clarinet performance and orchestral conducting.
His abilities as a multi-instrumentalist developed side by side with musical and technological skills, acquired through years of practice, live performances and working with proffesional musicians.
Cristian graduated a theoretical highschool while studying music in private with Bucharest music academy proffesor Maestro Ion Cudalbu. After obtaining the ABRSM Music Diploma Grade 8 with merit in 2017 he enroled for the Music and Sound Technology Course at the University of Portsmouth, which he graduated in 2021 with 1st class.
Classical Music is the highest manifestation of the creative human conciousness, thus studying it at a prestigious institution such as the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music was the best next step in his carrer. Conducting represents a challenge, not only when it comes to the profound understanding of the musical phenomenology, but also the emotional inter-person experience which is simply called: Orchestra.
Now, as a musician based in Cluj-Napoca, Cristian managed to create various networking skills, organised live concerts and his own festival (Breaza Jazz Pop Rock). He composed various classical works and keeps producing new music and bands year by year. The love for music is meant to be shared and each project represents an opportunity for development and creating meaningful connections.
