Cristian Dorin Munteanu

Hi there!
My name is Cristian Munteanu and welcome to my website. I am a former Music and Sound Technology student at the University of Portsmouth, currently a Clarinet Performance and Conducting student at the ‘Gheorghe Dima’ National Music Academy and I am currently working my way up to becoming a professional sound engineer, interpreter and all around musician. The purpose of this website is to showcase my work and hopefully create an idea of my musical and technical knowledge. You can find here music that I’ve composed and produced, performed and recorded or just simply mixed and mastered. My love for music has spread widely into a lot of different genres (from rock to classical music, metal, jazz and pop). I have worked with people that brought to me new and interesting perspectives and managed to comprehend them and turn simple ideas into finished products. At the same time I felt in love with the principles of sound and electricity and discovered the beautiful world of sound engineering. I’ve learned to detach from the ears of an interpreter and started listening to the details that make a song truly special. I still have a long way to go, but you can hear and follow my progress on this personal site where I will upload every work of mine.
